I was reading in Psalms, and this phrase kept jumping out at me: '
His wrap around presence'...
Wow! With so much happening in the world.. and so much happening for people personally (health issues, financial issues, relational issues, just to name a few!) ; isn't it something to think that God himself offers us His 'wrap around presence'? I don't know about you.. but I've had things past year that have needed that wonderful comfort of His presence and His love, but to read that it's written in the Psalms as His 'wrap around presence'.. well...that's a comfort I can picture.
So how about you? Need some 'wrap around presence'?
Wait silently.. and in stillness for Him to rescue you.
Stand in absolute stillness...
Wait as patiently as you can...
Focus on finding His face and hearing His voice
Yes, even in the midst of all other voices and the noise of life.
He said He hears you.
He says He will rescue you.
He says He will not fail you.
That He'll defend you AND His presence, His 'wrap around presence'.. will protect you!
Take a moment to let yourself lean in today... and enjoy it....
You know you need it! .. ( we all do!)
I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love,
waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me.
Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me. For he alone is my safe place.
His wraparound presence always protects me as my champion defender.
There’s no risk of failure with God!
So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?
God’s glory is all around me! His wraparound presence is all I need,
for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength.
Trust only in God every moment!
Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him.
Believe me when I tell you—he will help you!
