On September 26 and 27, 2026, The River held a Father’s Heart Weekend: two days of teaching, prayer, and quiet time centered on knowing God as Father. It was free to attend, and every session was recorded. You can watch them all here, in order.
Saturday ran from morning to evening in five sessions. On Sunday, the message at our regular service picked up the same thread.
John 1:12; Ephesians 1:4-5; John 17:4-8; John 17:25; John 14:9; Mark 14:36; Matthew 5:38-40; John 8:1-11; John 20:17; Hebrews 2:11; John 16:23-24; John 16:27; Romans 5:11; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:5-7; Ephesians 3:6; Ephesians 3:12; Genesis 3; Luke 15; Ezekiel 47
Genesis 2:7-9; Genesis 3:22-24; John 3:16-18; Matthew 27:51; Galatians 5:1-6; Matthew 7:1; Matthew 22:36-40
If you are watching on your own
Each session has a chaptered video and the full teaching in writing, so you can read along or jump straight to the part you need. Session 2 includes short prayers of forgiveness for different kinds of fathers, and Session 4 has a guided journaling time, so give those two a little extra room.
Another weekend?
We have not set a date for the next Father’s Heart Weekend. If you would like to hear when we do, get in touch, or come and join us on a Sunday.
